Who are we?
The Argyle Community Association is a volunteer based organization striving to enhance the quality of life for Argyle residents. We represent the common interested of the residents of the Argyle area in East London, within the borders of Highbury Ave (West), Oxford Street (North), Thames River (South), and the city limits to the East.
Mission Statement
Promote the well-being of the Argyle community and the City of London through advocacy of community improvements, the championing and supporting of community activities and through the engagement and partnerships with other communities and associations.
Our monthly neighbourhood meetings are intended to be a way for neighbours to learn about/discuss issues in order to build strong communities, to create connections between the various neighbourhoods within Argyle as well as being a place to receive reliable information concerning local affairs.
Our fundraising dollars help to, among other things, rent space for gatherings, maintain our website, and host events within Argyle.
We believe this work to be vitally important within the Argyle community.
